I don't know why did I ask you “ Do you still believe in Freaky Fridays?” in my last post of July 10, Terrifying Thursday. Do you remember that?
And here is what happened this morning - a Friday morning.
I was a bit early, which I am always, at the usual pick-up point of my office car. And, let me assure you that I was very sober, I mean I wasn't intoxicated with Twitter. See I am telling you this happened today morning.
Suddenly, a white SUV approached and without wasting a second, I hopped into it as that seemed identical to my usual one. Once seated in the passenger seat, I quickly fastened the seat belt as the car sped off. Just as I glanced at the driver, I realised this wasn't my regular ride, and the fate had other plans.
As I pleaded with the driver to stop the car as I got into the wrong car, the passengers in the back burst into laughter and told me ( I thought they were joking) to forget about getting out. If I insist, then I would have to pay for their night of fun. Some enthusiasts passed on their business card.
I couldn't help smiling and shaking my head at this strange twist as the car halted and I stepped out.
In five minutes, another white SUV stopped near me. I verified the number plate, who the driver was, and the passengers before jumping into it.
The memory of that Terrifying Thursday lingered in my mind. Why do Fridays always throw me off balance?
I know you guys are very careful and even check the number plate of your own car before getting into it, unlike me. Do you really?
This always happens with you.
Wow... What a freaky Friday indeed!
