Ahem my matric english miss also had a very strong hi-fi palm which she used to clap several times on our teeny cheeks. And once i was protected from this clapping torture by making a stubborn excuse from going to school and yay chuttiiiii becoz that day she was going to hand out our test results and the next day we chuttii karne waly nalaiks heard horror stories from our deskmates 🧌.

And i couldn't avoid fainting in maths too 🤦

Anyways when i look back at those matric times i miss those days of peace and frivolity. Adulthood brought much bigger challenges than maths and worse wraths than miss english.

You said it! But the maths still haunt me - how I wish it had turned into a good soul and made friends with me. 😉

Kudos to all these brave souls who spent their lives trying to master the game....but you Sir not being brilliant in school is something I find hard to believe😄

Sadly though, except for the ruler being used for its intended purpose these days....nothing much seems to have changed where the tedium of schooling is concerned!
